You may have seen life-size statues, one-of-a-kind game consoles, and special art books, but this may just be the biggest, silliest piece of gaming memorabilia of all time. Jeep has actually released a special edition Wrangler based on the one featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Above: A similar model released in Australia
The Jeep has features like black Mopar tail light guards, exclusive Call of Duty graphics, and off-road trails on the tires. On the inside, there's a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a huge surround sound system, and satellite radio functionality built-in. It's available in both two-door and four-door models.
"If you want to show the world that you're a hard-core Call of Duty fan, this is the vehicle you need to own," said one Jeep dealership manager in a press release.
Production of thevehicle will be highly limited, and eager consumers can go ahead and get their orders in now. The press release only mentions Quirk Chrysler Jeep in Boston, so if you live elsewhere you should check in with your local dealer to see if it will be able to fulfill orders for the custom Jeep. That is, if you're actually considering buying one, which we sort of doubt. Though this is certainly the most appropriate* vehicleto take to GameStop for future midnight Call of Duty launches.
*Appropriate like wearing a band's shirt to its concerts.
