Prepare to have yourselves a good old nerdgasm, because a new suit modelled on the one worn by Iron Man in the Marvel movies is now available to buy online .
Firebox is stocking the steel-and-carbon-made suit for one day only, with units already shifting fast, and expected to sell out by around midday.
The incredibly detailed suit includes a Mark XLVII headset capable of projecting holographic technology, hand-mounted stabilisation jets, and a thigh-mounted flare development system designed to provide optimum flight control.
The suit’s weapon system has been deactivated, but if you take it to one of those shops that promise to unlock iPhones, you should be able to get that sorted without too much trouble.
At £250,000 per suit, it’s obviously an expensive bit of kit, but you do get delivery thrown in for free, presumably as the suit will be able to fly its way direct to your door.
