Call of Duty Warzone zombies seemingly leaked via audio recordings
Will there be Call of Duty Warzone zombies in the future?
It appears a Zombies mode for Call of Duty: Warzone has just been leaked through some datamined audio files.
In the post to the Warzone subreddit post just below, you can hear several voiceover lines that detail the Zombies mode in Warzone. You can clearly hear an instructor detailing how Zombies aren’t affected by the “gas” on the Verdansk map, for example.

Now while we'd always recommend taking these sorts of leaks with a Verdansk quarry full of salt, but this does seem legit, as regular players will recognise the vocal tones from the Allegiance's voice-over commentary.
At the current time, we don’t know when the Zombies mode will be arriving in Call of Duty: Warzone. The upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has the series’s returning Zombies mode for multiplayer, so it’d make sense for Warzone’s Zombies mode to launch before Black Ops Cold War releases on November 13.
Alternatively, it’s very easy to see a Zombies mode being added to Warzone just in time for Halloween next month. Other live service games like Apex Legends have added a spooky mode around Halloween before, and in Apex’s case, it was a mode where infected players would try and kill off the remaining characters before time expired.
Don’t assume that Zombies in Warzone would use up the whole of the Verdansk map. Like Kingslayer Trios or Mini Royale, the Zombies mode could take place on a drastically reduced map. Call of Duty’s Zombies modes have typically confined players to small spaces in corridor-based maps, so it’s not out of the question that you'll be locked to a specific part of the map.
