Capcom's Seth Killian offers tantalizing new Marvel vs. Capcom 3 details
The community manager (and playable character) talks about new characters, moves, and playing styles
In a recent interview with GameSpot, Capcom community manager Seth Killian discusses a number of intricacies which could make Marvel vs. Capcom 3 the best of the series.
Killian speaks about Capcom’s commitment to diversifying the fighting for a less uniform experience, and assures us that there will be more characters and more than a few surprises:
“Part of the hallmark of the series is to do a little bit of obscure characters as well, it’s not all superstars. We do a little bit of surprise like ‘I can’t believe they put this one in the games!’”
He also discusses Wolverine’s uber-cool twin X-23 who, true to comic form, will befaster and more agile than Logan. He refused, however, to pin down a specific figure of how many characters can be expected beyond “a significant number.”
Killian also explains Simple Mode, which is designed to attract gamers with less experience by requiring fewer buttons for combos and super moves.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is expected to be released in spring 2011. We'll be absorbing every tidbit ofinformation until then.
