Pixar’s vehicular follow-up Cars 2 vrooms into cinemas later this year, and we’ve just landed a world exclusive image from the movie.
Showing off an encounter between new character Finn McMissile (voiced by Michael Caine) and everybody’s favourite buck-toothed rust bucket Mater (voiced by Larry The Cable Guy), it offers an enticing glimpse at the motor-powered sequel.
It also gives us a look at a car airport (Tokyo International, apparently), with vehicles in the background checking in for flights around the world. (At least their boot space means they shouldn’t get a luggage surcharge.)
Cars 2 again stars red race car Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson), who takes best friend Mater on a whirlwind world tour as he competes against the best of the best. Before tumbling into a spy plot.
