Check out the heavily auto-tuned Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2 trailer
It might have taken 15 years, but the sequel to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon will soon be upon us. Until then, feast your eyes on the first trailer that's recently arrived online. While director Ang Lee has moved onto other projects, Sword of Destiny looks poised to continue the inventive wire-fighting and fairytale plottings of the original.
After working as choreographer on the first film Yuen Woo-ping now sits at the helm. He directs returning stars Michelle Yeoh, who reprises her role as Yu Shu Lien, and Donnie Yen who's back as Silent Wolf. The story picks up with a quest to keep a fateful sword - the legendary weapon wielded by Chow Yun Fat's character in the first flick - from the clutches of an evil warmonger.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny arrives on Netflix worldwide February 26, 2016. It's also destined to hit select IMAX theaters the same day.
