Check out Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s Benicio Del Toro in action figure form

Benicio Del Toro is the latest cast member in Star Wars: The Last Jedi to get the merchandise treatment. Instagrammer the_collectors_hutt snapped a photo of the new action figure at Hasbro’s HASCON event last weekend. The figure is 3.75 inches tall and shows Del Toro wearing the same costume from the Vanity Fair promo image that dropped in May. He’s also armed with a blaster, but who knows if the figure will have other weapons or accessories as part of the full packaged product. Check out the likeness:

So far, all we know about the Oscar-winning Del Toro’s role in The Last Jedi is that he plays a shady fellow who probably isn’t who he seems. The character goes by DJ, but any suspicious rogue worth his salt is probably working under a pseudonym. The speculation so far indicates that he might be a descendent of bounty hunter Boba Fett. He flies a slick, pristine ship, and his storyline is intertwined with the mission undertaken by John Boyega’s Finn and Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose. And... that’s about all we know for now.

The best Star Wars merchandise in the galaxy

From figurines to food prep, here's everything you could use to fly your fandom flag.

It makes sense that Rian Johnson and the rest of the crew would want to keep a lid on some of the juicier surprises before the movie drops, but it sure would be nice to have a second trailer to help tide us impatient fans over with fresh clues about DJ and the other new characters.

Directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Laura Dern, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Benicio del Toro, Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in cinemas on December 15, 2017.
