DICE will release Battlefield 4’s China Rising DLC on December 3, the game’s social stat-tracking service Battlelog has revealed. According to MP1st, the multiplayer add-on will be exclusive to Battlefield Premium members for two weeks before going on general release.
Available as a Battlefield 4 pre-order bonus, China Rising introduces four large-scale Chinese mainland maps in addition to new vehicles and military equipment. It’s one of five Battlefield 4 expansions due for release by the summer of 2014, the others being Second Assault, Naval Strike, Dragon's Teeth and Final Stand. They can be pre-purchased as part of a £39.99 / $50 Battlefield Premium subscription offering.
Battlefield 4 launches in the US today and in the UK this Friday on PC and current gen systems. Xbox One and PS4 versions will be console launch titles later in November. “As a package, this is the best Battlefield ever created,” we said in our review of DICE’s latest.
A day one Battlefield 4 multiplayer update is now available to download on Xbox Live Marketplace. "This Battlefield 4 update contains improvements to the multiplayer portions of the game,” the official description reads. “We strongly advise you download it."
