Chris Evans says Captain America: Civil War is a fight between "friends and family"
While there have been plenty of heroes who have already fought each other on this year, none of them have the on screen history of the characters in Captain America: Civil War. While there is no new footage in the latest featurette - which is titled 'Brothers in Arms' - it does a good job of highlighting the fact that this is a fight between people who have grown to become "friends and family". Check it out below...
The best excerpt from the featurette comes from co-director Anthony Russo, who states that "we wanted everybody to be both protagonist and antagonist". It's a great quote that sums up why Civil War has the potential to be so interesting, and the longer the film can maintain that equal balance of right and wrong for both Team Cap and Team Iron Man, the more compelling it will be.
Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, and starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, and Sebastian Stan, Captain America: Civil War opens in UK cinemas on April 29, 2016 and May 6, 2016 in the US.
