Chris Evans signs up for Push
With three other thesps in a supernatural thriller
It must be fun to have telekinetic or clairvoyant powers – imagine being able to shove objects with your mind or predict the future! Or being able to shove the future with… wait, that doesn’t quite work. And we really should have seen it coming.
But for the young people in Lucky Number Slevin director Paul McGuigan’s new film it’s no fun at all. Because this group of American ex-pats in Hong Kong find themselves on the run from a government agency that wants to use their talents to fight wars.
Chris Evans has signed up the lead the team fighting for freedom, while Djimon Hounsou, Camilla Belle and Dakota Fanning (surely ideal casting for a powerful psychic given her ability for scary, wide-eyed stares) are also on board.
David Bourla penned the sky-high concept script, and McGuigan kick off shooting this autumn in Hong Kong.
