Christopher Nolan will rewrite Interstellar script
Plans to incorporate some of his own ideas
Yesterday we announced that Christopher Nolan would be assuming directorial duties on sci-fi thriller Interstellar , and today it transpires that he will be even more involved, with Nolan also set to perform rewrites on the script.
The previous script already had Nolan DNA running through it, being written by Chris’s brother Jonathan, but the director is planning to merge that with some fresh ideas of his own.
The brothers have co-written several projects before, including The Prestige , The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises , so the arrangement is nothing new.
Deadline also goes on to report a little more about what we can expect from the film, describing it as depicting, “a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest borders of our scientific understanding”.
The director is currently ironing out the finer details of the deal with Paramount, but in the meantime we can all get excited by the prospect of another Nolan epic in the offing…
