Christian Bale in talks to play Steve Jobs
Set to team up with Danny Boyle on biopic
Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopic looks as though it may have found its leading man, with THR reporting that Christian Bale is in negotiations to take the role.
It had initially been a part that Leonardo DiCaprio had looked set to play, only for the star to recently drop out of discussions, citing scheduling worries.
Bale had previously been David Fincher’s first choice to star, back when the he was attached to the project, only for the director to eventually walk away.
Scripted by Aaron Sorkin, Boyle’s film will be split into three thirty-minute scenes, each set before three of Apple’s major product launches, from the Mac to the iPod.
The film has yet to receive an official title or release date, but expect announcements on those two fronts as soon as a leading man is locked in…
