Christian Bale rules himself out of any Justice League movie
Looking forward to seeing a new vision for the character
With Man Of Steel running riot at the global box office, a Justice League movie is looking ever more likely to happen. However, the project will have to find a new Batman should it get the official green light.
Christian Bale has been talking about the possibility of a DC team-up movie, and as far as he's concerned, he's hung up the cape and cowl for good.
"I have no information, no knowledge about anything," says Bale. "I’ve literally not had a conversation with a living soul. I understand that they may be making a Justice League movie, that’s it."
"It’s a torch that should be handed from one actor to another," he continues. "So I enjoy looking forward to what somebody else will come up with. We were incredibly fortunate to get to make three [ Batman films ]. That’s enough. Let’s not get greedy."
It would have been a massive surprise had Bale decided to return to the role one more time, but having officially ruled himself out, its time to start thinking about who could take his place. Make your suggestions in the comments below…
