Christian Bale signs on for Terminator 4
He’s officially playing John Connor
Criminals know not to mess with him as Batman, and now marauding cyborgs will get the same lesson.
Yes, after weeks of rumours and sources blabbing all over the magical internets, what we pretty much already knew is officially confirmed: Christian Bale is snatching the role of John Connor in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.
The movie has a summer 2009 slot all prepared for it and the plot will reinvent the franchise, following a grown Connor as he kicks off the human resistance to the machines.
With McG at the helm (one of the reasons we frankly wondered whether Bale would sign at all), a script by T3’s Michael Ferris and John Brancato, and the robots should go on the march this coming April in the budget-friendly local of Budapest.
