Christian Bale talks Public Enemies
He’s still fighting crime…
In case it has escaped your notice with the flood of Johnny Depp pictures, Christian Bale is also in Michael Mann’s latest, which charts the efforts of FBI honcho Melvin Purvis (a heroic name if ever we heard one) to shut down John Dillinger’s criminal gang in the 1930s.
Bale has been talking to MTV about working on the film , and gushes about what a researcher Mann is. Oh, and how uncannily well the events as shot match up with the times and places in the real-life crime story. “We shot at the actual locations where the events took place,” he tells the site. “It was uncanny on a number of occasions; we were filming on the actual dates where the gunfights happened, in the same place, at the same time!” Click the link for more…
