Christopher Meloni to join Zack Snyders Man Of Steel

Law & Order star Christopher Meloni is in talks to join Zack Snyder's comic-book hero movie, Man Of Steel .

It seems every other week a big star is added to the cast of the upcoming Superman reboot . This week, it's Meloni, who recently left TV's Law & Order , who is rumoured to be joining the superhero flick.

It is not yet known who Meloni will be playing, but it is reported to be a "major role". Some speculate he may play Perry White, the man in charge of the Daily Planet, but who knows? No doubt his role will be revealed in the not too distant future.

In case you have missed the cast updates so far, here is a quick run through of cast and characters: Henry Cavill leads as Superman, Amy Adams is Lois Lane, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner are Ma and Pa Kent, Russell Crowe is Jor-El, Julia Ormond is Lara Lor-Van and Michael Shannon is General Zod.

Man Of Steel
is due for release in December 2012.
