Clint Eastwood chats Gran Torino
And The Human Factor too…
Right when most people are enjoying their bus pass or taking up knitting, Clint Eastwood is busy making some of the best movies of his career. And he also shows no sign of stopping.
MTV sat him down to talk about his latest, period drama The Changeling , and also got him talking about Gran Torino and his planned Nelson Mandela film, The Human Factor.
Gran Torino has nothing, despite some rumours, to do with Dirty Harry – it’s more a generational tale of a retired soldier forced to adapt to his changing neighbourhood. Oh, and when he’s done acting and directing that one, he’s switching back behind the camera for The Human Factor, which he wants to get moving early next year with Matt Damon and old mucker Morgan Freeman.
