Clive Baker says Down, Satan
Another one of his short stories is being adapted…
Clive Barker will likely be hoping that Down, Satan –adapted from his Books Of Blood story collection – will get a fairer shake than Midnight Meat Train (also from Blood), which has been shoved around the schedules and now looks likely to get a brief, highly limited release before sloping off to hopefully make its money back on DVD.
IGN has the exclusive that Barker is collaborating on Satan, not hard, really, when you consider that one of their editors is writing the script. Satan follows a businessman named Gregorius faced with a conscience of faith when he realises that God has left his life. His solution? Build a hell on Earth in service to Satan in the hopes that God will intervene…. Sounds like it could get suitably nasty… IGN has the info .
