Cole MacGrath, Jak and Daxter announced for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

As promised, Sony revealed two new characters for its upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale at its panel at the San Diego Comic Con and both were totally, super-duper expected. And awesome. And expected. But awesome anyway.

The first, perfectly picked for the Comic Con audience, was Cole MacGrath, the electrified protagonist of the super powered Infamous series. He was shown off using abilities from the second game, and unleashing an ice-powered Super move (which we're guessing is his level two ability) and his signature vortex attack (which is undoubtedly his level three).

The second was also somewhat obligatory, but we're not complaining. Jak & Daxter team up in the brawler, unleashing melee attacks and morphing into “Light Jak” to destroy foes for their ultimate Super attack. We can't wait to get hands-on with the character, since he looks like he might add some interesting variety to the roster.

For more details check out the trailers for each character, showing off their in-game personas battling the likes of Kratos and Fat Princess. Also check back next week for updates to our massive PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster, which includes information on every character and a huge list of other potential stars for the game to add.
