Colin Farrell and Paula Patton in line for Warcraft leads
Offers on the table for both
Duncan Jones’ Warcraft adaptation looks set to begin the casting process in earnest, with Colin Farrell and Paula Patton thought to be in line for the leading roles.
Deadline reports that Patton is in advanced talks to join the production, with Farrell currently mulling over an offer before entering discussions himself.
No details have been released as to what sort of characters the duo would be playing, with Jones’ adaptation of the franchise expected to draw upon the Orcs & Humans storyline of the real-time-strategy videogames.
We’d hazard a guess that both of them are too pretty to be playing Orcs, so we’ll chalk them up as two additions to the human side of proceedings…
Directed by Jones from a script by Charles Leavitt, production is set to begin on the film in January, with Legendary having yet to confirm an official release date.
