Colin Farrell discusses World Of Warcraft rumours
Describes the script as “amazing”
Colin Farrell has long been linked to Duncan Jones’ adaptation of World Of Warcraft , and the star has finally taken time to comment on the production, and what exactly his status is…
“I don’t know what’s happening, man,” says Farrell. “I read the script, if that’s any use to you, and it’s amazing... Duncan was cool. I sat with Duncan for a while and read the script, loved the script, and we were as cool as can be.”
“I don’t know what’s happening with the film,” he continues. “I don’t know where they are in the process. It’s just a world that I never explored — and it’s a really big and fantastical world.”
“I can’t imagine what he, being as visually gifted as he is, Duncan, and what he did on Moon with, like, a dime, I can’t imagine what he’d do with this Warcraft .”
As to who he might be playing in the film, Farrell is similarly vague, although it does sound as though he and Jones have discussed it in a little more detail than he’s letting on…
“I probably shouldn’t,” says Farrell when asked to spill the beans. “I don’t even know, actually, I’ll just say that! I don’t even know. We were just talking, and Duncan just said, ‘There might be something in it for you!’ And I said, ‘Catering?’”
World Of Warcraft will open in the US on 18 December 2015.
