COMPETITION Win The Returned on DVD
Five lucky people can win the French smash hit TV show on DVD.
Now you can see dead people – all the time...
The good news: Channel 4 has already bought the rights for the second series of The Returned . The bad: the series hasn’t even started filming yet, and we’re unlikely to see it before late 2014. Don't worry about missing those undead folks in France too much, however – in the meantime, you can comfort yourself by rewatching the excellent first series, out now on DVD – and we’ve got copies to give away to five lucky winners.
In case you missed one of the hottest new genre shows of the year, The Returned focuses on a small group of dead people, who mysteriously come back to life and return to the French village where they lived. They find themselves isolated and afraid as they try to fit back into their original, everyday lives, and the horror and confusion that follows drives the plot of this atmospheric thriller – along with a series of murders that echo the work of a serial killer in the past. It’s safe to say that the show asks its fair share of questions, some that beg for answers on a re-watch.
Directed by Fabrice Gobert, the all-French cast perform flawlessly, backed up by a compelling storyline, a memorable soundtrack and some stunningly beautiful cinematography.
Thanks to Universal Studios, we’re giving away a copy of The Returned ’s first series to five lucky winners, and all you have to do to stand a chance of winning is follow this magic link and answer the question that lies beyond. You can also find terms and conditions there.
