Bizarre Creations' The Club has been given a firm release date of February 8, 2008, on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The confirmation has appeared in Sega's latest release schedule, which also lists a number of other 2008 titles, most notable of which are:
- Ghost Squad (Wii) - January 25, 2008
- NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (Wii) - January 25, 2008
- Universe at War (PC) - January 25, 2008
- Condemned 2 (PS3, Xbox 360) - February 2008
- Mario %26amp; Sonic at the Olympic Games (DS) - Early 2008
Universe at War on Xbox 360 is conspicuous in its absence - we were expecting it to launch alongside the PC version of the RTS. Sega was unavailable for comment on the matter at time of press.
The Club is a hybrid mish-mash of different genres aims to bring "the diversity of a fighting game and the intensity of a shooter" says the studio. Read ourpreviewfor more details and check outthese vidswhile you're at it:
