This week's top spot comes down to a new entry-war between two Vietnam shooters and full honours go to SCi's Conflict: Vietnam, which pips Eidos' ShellShock: Nam '67. SCi will be particularly happy as Conflict Vietnam not only comes straight in at number one but also outperforms all other first-week sales figures by previous Conflict titles.

The superb Second Sight is another new entry that comes straight into the top 10, debuting at eight, while Nintendo's Gamecube-exclusive Wario Ware Inc: Mega Party Games scrapes in at 20. However, in the budget priced charts it reigns supreme at number one.

With three new entries peppering the top 10 and nabbing the two top positions, it's the biggest shake-up at the business end of game sales for a while. This trend will undoubtedly continue with September now here and the games industry beginning to turn their eyes towards autumn campaigns.
