Control walkthrough and guide to help complete the game

Deliver mail, scan the forms, and tidy up the coffee cups

If the game wasn't weird before, it certainly is now, huh? Interact with the three sticky notes on the noticeboard, but thankfully you don't have to complete them. Do a few of each then some mail will appear for the Director in a canister at the front of the room (pictured above). Pick it up and take the mail to his office.

You'll be reset back to the sticky notes again, so you need to rinse and repeat what you did before. After the second cutscene, do it a third time and you'll be given a new objective.

Find Darling's Office

Run back through to the main section of the building and go into Darling's Office (pictured above), which is very bright and easy to spot on the right-hand side. Pull the cord to the motel three times, then hit the bell in reception once to open the door at the far end of the motel. Pick up the keys from the desk then open the door across the hallway.

Reach Dylan

Next, you need to use Levitate to make it through a very red alternate reality. It's completely linear so don't worry about going the wrong way, just make sure you land on each of the raised platforms and don't fall too far or you'll die. When you get to the end, interact with the object pictured above.

Now you're in another dimension and you need to go through the designated path, levitating from one area to the next. There's waves and waves of Hiss enemies to take out along these sections, and while the first two are somewhat easy, the third and final section can be quite tough. Make sure you're taking cover whenever you take damage, and utilise all of your abilities here. If you die, you have to go to the start of the entire area.

When you get to Dylan, interact with him and voila! You've completed the main story in Control. If you've got any side missions left to do, guides for those will be on the following pages.

Give me a game and I will write every "how to" I possibly can or die trying. When I'm not knee-deep in a game to write guides on, you'll find me hurtling round the track in F1, flinging balls on my phone in Pokemon Go, pretending to know what I'm doing in Football Manager, or clicking on heads in Valorant.
