Cooking Mama opens Wii kitchen
Motion-controlled Cook Off begins next year
The original Cooking Mama has barely been out a month here in the US and we've already got word of a totally new Wii version, Cook Off, due out early next year. According to publisher Majesco, the cooking sim sequel will feature revamped, realistic graphics and a slew of new international dishes to prepare.
Though there are no images to go with the Cook Off announcement, it's safe to assume the slicing, flipping and sautéing action will transfer over to the Wii remote quite easily. The DS original is a decent amount of fun in small doses, so with an added two-player mode and more recipe variation, Cook Off could hold its own on Nintendo's casual console.
