Cops, Kings and a Monkey
Get a dose of action in 36, drama from The King and comedy from Curious George
Boss gone home early? Yup, thought so. Bloke next to you playing online chess with his brother in Japan again? Sneaky bugger. Well pop in those headphones people and feast your eyes on the bumper package of trailers and clips we’ve rustled up…
First up is Olivier Marchal’s tense cop drama 36 – starring Gerard Depardieu as one of a pair of policemen desperately hunting a gang of armoured car thieves. The first man to nab the light-fingered louts picks himself up a promotion, so the heat is most definitely on. 36 is released on 2 June and you can give it the once over by clicking here .
Next up is indie hotshot Gael Garcia Bernal as a young man, discharged from the navy and searching for the father he never met. The King is directed by James Marsh and co-stars William Hurt in a tale of family, faith and sin. Arriving in cinemas nationwide from today, check out the trailer here .
Finally, we have a clip reel from Curious George, the tale of a man and his pain-in-the-arse-monkey. Helmer Matthew O’Callaghan has experience working on a multitude of Hollywood scribble-flicks – from Little Mermaid to Shrek, so this should be a sure-fire hit with the little 'uns.
