Crackdown - updated hands-on
Look, up in the sky... it's a genetically enhanced vigilante super cop!
Your agent's other skills upgrade themselves in a similarly natural way. Enjoy shooting stuff? Spend enough time and bullets on that particular hobby and you'll be rewarded with enhanced aiming skills. Now you can aim precisely at a car's gas tank or tires instead of just its top or bottom half... or plug a thug's head twice as quickly. On the other hand, kicking enemies to death and then heaving their lifeless corpses at other enemies is fun too, and it will improve your strength skill so that, some fine day, you can pick up a semi truck and toss it instead.
Your body is not the only thing that can be augmented, either. Completing the race missions scattered throughout town - or simply running a lot of people over - rewarded us with tricked-out models of our original agency-issued vehicles. The speedy Super Car was outfitted with hood-mounted weaponry, as well as a front-bumper shovel that plowed any and all obstacles out of its way. The SUV, meanwhile, had suspension added that enabled it to rocket itself into the air.
