Crackdown - updated hands-on
Look, up in the sky... it's a genetically enhanced vigilante super cop!
Gaining skills in Crackdown might never grow old, as new areas and challenges are continuously being unlocked. Each time we achieved a new agility tier, we discovered that we could reach areas that had previously been inaccessible. Before long, we were Tony Hawk-ing across railings, ledges, awnings to grab icons in crazier and crazier locations. Like the top of a giant Ferris wheel. When our SUV learned to hop, we could then reach floating stunt hoops that also dished out driving skill points.
Playing a full-fledged superhero is great, but constructing one from scratch could be even more gratifying. You'll be able to judge for yourself soon, as a demo is hitting Xbox Live on January 18. We've also got fresh screens and videos waiting for you under the Images and Movies tabs above.
