Crysis 2 'Retaliation Pack' dated for May 17th, teaser trailer makes us want to go clubbing
Park Avenue, Transit, Shipyard, and Compound maps incoming
EA has air-dropped a sneak peak at its upcoming Retaliation Pack DLC for Crysis 2. The video showcases gameplay from the four new multiplayer maps on arrival for the futuristic FPS, and pegs May 17th as the DLC's release date on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
We apologize in advance to online-disabled PS3 owners for the profound feelings of jealousy and/or rage that may arise as a result of watching the following trailer:
As shown, the four new maps include Park Avenue, Transit, Shipyard, and Compound; all of which will be integrated into Crysis 2's existing multiplayer game modes. Neither EA or Crytek have announced a dollar amount for the DLC, however the prevailing theory is it will be priced to compete with the Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation Map Pack already out on Xbox 360, and arriving for the PS3 and PC within the next two months.
