Why you can trust GamesRadar+
A strange problem that seems unique to the Wii version is the consistent hitches during every single cutscene. Literally every second the graphics stutter and skip when the camera is merely panning over a crime scene, and there’s no reason for it- nothing on screen looks particularly detailed. The same goes for the sound- frequently a line of dialog will skip like a CD player being bumped. These are blatantly obvious bugs that constantly remind you that the game was released unfinished.
There's also a distinct lack of motion-controlled gimmickry going on; granted, many games just needlessly tack on motion chores, but considering the nature of evidence-gathering, it would have suited this game perfectly. On the bright side, Hard Evidence is so fast there’s something satisfying in flying through a game in one sitting. So, if you’re looking for a challenging mystery adventure, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a 5-6 hour distraction that will at least provide some semblence of a multi-episode binge of the TV show, and you don't mindsome unpolished graphics and sound, it could be worth a rental.
