Cuba Gooding Jr's on a Linewatch
A border crossing drama
Illegal immigration has always been a hot-button issue over in America, but these days it seems to be even more controversial. Those Canadians, eh… Okay, not so much. But the issue of the Mexican border continues to itch at politicians and talking heads, so it’s only natural that the issue keeps been tackled in movies.
The latest film to take a pot shot is Linewatch, which will star Cuba Gooding Jr and Evan – son of Diana – Ross. Gooding will play Michael Dixon a former gang banger-turned border patrol officer who abandoned his nephew Little Boy (Ross) in LA when he vanished from the city. The kid got mixed up with a dangerous gang leader and now Dixon will have to act to save his family…
The film is shooting right now in Mexico, with Kevin Bray busy calling the shots.
