Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals 2024: screen savings to expect this year
Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals are set for a comeback.
Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals are ready and waiting for the big event, as they could entice players who didn't splash out during Black Friday. You'll often find that the same discounts from before the weekend have simply been extended, but finding unique screen savings isn't unheard of. In fact, manufacturers like to go the extra mile on the final day of sales to clear out stock, particularly if take-up wasn't too strong the first time around.
Actually finding the best gaming monitors when fishing for Black Friday gaming deals is harder than you'd think. Just because a monitor is discounted doesn't mean it's sitting at its cheapest, and it's important to triple check price trends before clicking buy. Is is where waiting for Cyber Monday sometimes comes into the picture, as some high-end OLED, mini LED, and IPS displays might end up even cheaper. At the same time, holding off comes with risks, as some models could simply go out of stock.
That's not to say you'll be on your lonesome, as I've tested many of the latest screens likely to show up during Cyber Monday. Ultimately, my goal is to help you find the right gaming monitor for less, and that'll mean carefully breaking down discounts based on price trends as well as the capabilities of each model.
FAQ
When will Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals start?
Cyber Monday 2024 kicks off on November 29, straight after the Black Friday weekend. Naturally, the two big sales work in conjunction with one another, and some deals will remain the following week. That said, there is likely to be deals that won't pop up until the Monday, so it's worth keeping up to date with the latest offers.
Where will the best Cyber Monday gaming monitors deals be?
Amazon and Dell pretty much lead the charge when it comes to some of the best Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals. That said, Best Buy and Walmart are getting better at keeping up with the main players, with discounts that trump previous year discounts and anything else on offer before and after.
In any case, here's a rundown of retailers to check out during Cyber Monday 2023:
US:
Amazon: Regular discounts on a large variety of monitors in all styles
Dell: Huge savings on Dell productivity and Alienware gaming monitors
Best Buy: Deals on MSI Optix, Samsung, Acer, and Lenovo panels
Walmart: Frequent sales on LG, Asus, Samsung, and other makes
Newegg: Selection can be a little more limited, but deals are generally good
UK:
Amazon: Consistently low prices on some of the best gaming monitors
Currys: Fair prices but few deals available at the moment
eBuyer: Minor savings on some of the bigger gaming monitor brands
Overclockers: Regularly stocks high-end gaming ultrawide gaming monitors
Dell: Deep discounts on Alienware and Dell monitors
Very: Good deals available on MSI, Alienware, and HP gaming panels
Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals: What to expect
Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals can differ from their Black Friday siblings, but there are a few trends in common. For example, you'll find that the likes of Dell simply use the secondary event as an excuse to extend offers, as its Alienware AW3423DW OLED monitor offer stuck around for a while after.
Notably, some of the priciest panels out there dropped to great prices during latest year's Cyber Monday event, including the Acer Nitro XV322QK. The high spec screen dropped from $1099.99 to $599.99 at Best Buy - a dramatic drop that was worth jumping on. In addition, the cheaper Acer Nitro XF243YP ended up dropping to a just $129.99, making it one of the best budget buys featured last year.
That said, various new screens arrived after last year's event, and succeeding models can influence future reductions. For example, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 is now a thing, and it actually dropped in price during Amazon's Prime Day 'Big Deal Days' sale by £400 in the UK. The Neo G9 also dropped by over $1,000 in the US, which is a helpful bar when it comes to Cyber Monday expectation.
Naturally, meaning there's a good chance the new model and the original Odyssey G9 will drop record low prices. Same applies to LG's line up of displays, as with the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE-B offering luscious top end specs, older models may end up a little cheaper.
Other display discounts to watch out for include the likes of the Corsair XENEON 32UHD144. While the 2023 Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 targets different specs, its arrival on the scene could trigger slightly older models to drop in price. The QHD 240Hz model itself may end up cheaper too, but it's always wise to work from top to bottom when it comes to stock age.
We're even already seeing Alienware's 500Hz gaming monitor pop up for lower than ever ahead of Cyber Monday and Black Friday, which is surprising given it's both cutting edge and new to 2023. A great example of the fact that newness doesn't mean immunity when it comes to seasonal discounts, and it's worth watching every model regardless of age.

I’ve been messing around with PCs, video game consoles, and tech since before I could speak. Don’t get me wrong, I kickstarted my relationship with technology by jamming a Hot Wheels double-decker bus into my parent’s VCR, but we all have to start somewhere. I even somehow managed to become a walking, talking buyer’s guide at my teenage supermarket job, which helped me accept my career fate. So, rather than try to realise my musician dreams, or see out my University degree, I started running my own retro pop culture site and writing about video games and tech for the likes of TechRadar, The Daily Star, and the BBC before eventually ending up with a job covering graphics card shenanigans at PCGamesN. Now, I’m your friendly neighbourhood Hardware Editor at GamesRadar, and it’s my job to make sure you can kick butt in all your favourite games using the best gaming hardware, whether you’re a sucker for handhelds like the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch or a hardcore gaming PC enthusiast.
