The best Cyber Monday gaming deals 2024: what to expect this year
Cyber Monday gaming deals are hitting in December this year - here's everything you can expect from 2024's offers.
This year's Cyber Monday gaming deals are set to take place a little later than usual, and that means we've got a little more time to prepare - the sale is kicking off on December 2.
That doesn't mean we won't get the usual headline-stealing reductions, though. Record low prices are guaranteed if the last couple of years are anything to go by. We saw a couple of PS5 Slim bundles dip to their lowest ever price in 2023's Cyber Monday gaming deals, after all, and a Nintendo Switch OLED bundle emerged with three months of Online under the hood. Even the RTX 40-series gaming laptops enjoyed big discounts, so 2024 has some mighty big boots to fill.
No matter what comes, we'll be here to bring you the best offers. The GamesRadar+ team and I have been reporting on these events for years now, and even though Cyber Monday isn't quite as impactful as Black Friday gaming deals the weekend before, they still provide some of the best prices of the year. That means it's worth bookmarking this page and coming back later.
Of course, once those prices start falling we'll be rounding up all the biggest Cyber Monday gaming deals on the shelves. Until then, it's time to research and plan with our guide to everything you can expect to find in this year's holiday sale.
What to expect from Cyber Monday gaming deals in 2024
The easiest Cyber Monday gaming deals to find are usually games themselves, and even though a few old favorites are sure to be discounted again in 2024 (we're looking at you, God of War: Ragnarok), the best offers will be on titles a little less long in the tooth. Big hitters like Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel Spider-Man 2 and Baldur's Gate 3 will likely see some of their lowest prices yet. Meanwhile, we're looking to games released in the first half of the year for more recent discounts.
If you're after a new console, though, we'd recommend keeping a close eye on Black Friday PS5 deals and Black Friday Nintendo Switch deals. This is when we expect the larger offers to land, and they might not stick around for Cyber Monday. We're expecting PS5 deals to include similar bundles as last year with the Slim model offering a free recent release, and Nintendo Switch bundles to drop back to that $299 / £259 price point with free games and accessories included.
The Xbox Series X will likely take part in its own Cyber Monday Xbox deals as well, potentially dropping its MSRP to $439 / £429 with the Series S returning to last year's price of $219 / £189.
If you're after Cyber Monday gaming headset deals, we'd recommend keeping an eye on the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro and Razer BlackShark V2 models for the highest value discounts. The former usually runs at a hefty $349 / £329, but dropped to $299 in the US last year, giving us plenty of hope for a return to a record low $249 price. The BlackShark V2 is better suited to the everyday player looking to invest in a sturdy headset. It's a little older, but that $99.99 / £99.99 MSRP has been wavering for some time, even dropping as low as $59.99 / £54.99 in the past. This is where we're hoping to find it come Cyber Monday.
For Cyber Monday monitor deals, we'll be watching the Samsung CRG9 for some premium action, but MSI Optix, LG UltraGear, and Alienware ranges offer up some good action as well. These brands are all responsible for some of the best gaming monitors on the market, and some of these displays have spent enough time on the shelves to be primed for some heavier discounts.
What about controllers? Well, we're expecting both Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals and Cyber Monday Xbox Series X deals to offer up some savings on official gamepads. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and Joy-Con sets have started dropping $10 or so off their MSRPs over the last couple of years, so look set for a slightly larger saving in November.
Meanwhile, on Microsoft's side, the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core controller released for Xbox Series X and S has already seen some significant discounts since its first year of release. Even during 2022's Black Friday Xbox controller deals, this model dropped down to $99.99, so we're keeping our fingers crossed for a return to a record low price this year.
FAQ
When will Cyber Monday gaming deals start?
This year's Cyber Monday gaming deals will be occuring a little later than we're used to seeing them. Although they'll still happen on the Monday after Black Friday, that means the 2024 discounts will take place on December 2.
Not that the offers will be limited to that one day, of course. We often see retailers switching their Black Friday offers to Cyber Monday over the course of the weekend, and some reductions will roll on into the week. The best savings will be reserved for Monday itself though, so move fast if you want to take advantage of them.
Where will I find the best Cyber Monday gaming deals?
You'll find a number of retailers offering Cyber Monday gaming deals, but there are a few that bring extra value and plenty of stock to the party. You'll find our favorite stores listed below.

Is Black Friday or Cyber Monday cheaper?
Both Black Friday and Cyber Monday are cheap, as retailers often run pretty much the same deals for both events. However, there's far more choice available on Black Friday - stock hasn't run out yet and retailers are attempting to compete in a much more cutthroat arena. The sale is far more popular, which means flash sales, bundle offers, and extra gift card temptations will be more widespread. That tends to make Black Friday the cheaper sale overall, even if many prices stay the same over Cyber Monday.
Are games discounted on Cyber Monday?
Video games themselves rule the roost on Cyber Monday. This is where you'll find the majority of download discounts and even some record low prices on physical copies as well. We've seen this time and time again, so while we don't recommend waiting past a record low price on a new release over Black Friday, you're likely going to have plenty to choose from if you do miss out on the main event.
Do consoles go on sale on Cyber Monday?
Consoles are a little trickier to predict than games. After all, this is the first year we're heading into Cyber Monday gaming deals with both the PS5 and Xbox Series X having already dropped to record low prices in the past. We would expect these consoles to go on sale for Black Friday, but we anticipate stock might not hold out for Cyber Monday.
Last year's best Cyber Monday gaming deals
PS5 Slim | Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 / Spider-Man 2| $569.99 $499.99 at Best Buy
Save $69.99 - You could grab a free copy of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 or Spider-Man 2 with your PS5 Slim at Best Buy last year - and these bundles were holding tight to the shelves. That was a full priced recent release completely free in with the purchase of the latest PS5 console.
Nintendo Switch | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe | 3 months Nintendo Switch Online | $299 at Walmart
Save $67.98 - There are no bundles available any other time of the year that rival this value - with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and three months of Nintendo Switch Online packed into that $299 MSRP. This offer had been on the shelves for a few weeks now, but it's generally only reserved for the holidays.
Xbox Series X | Diablo IV | Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 | $638.98 $489.99 at Walmart
Save $149 - Not only were you getting a free copy of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (like we were seeing with so many other Xbox Series X bundles), but Walmart was also throwing in Diablo IV and cutting the price of the console by $10.
Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma wired controller | $149.99 $89.99 at Amazon
Save $60 - There was a $60 discount on the Wolverine V2 Chroma gamepad at Amazon in last year's Cyber Monday gaming deals. This was a brand new record low price, and it was a particularly impressive one considering we hadn't seen costs dip below $109.99 before.
Lenovo Legion Pro 7i 16-inch RTX 4080 gaming laptop| $2,749 $2,099 at B&H Photo
Save $650 - We'd seen this rig jump up in price and then all the way back up to MSRP before this, and this was close the best offer we've seen. Its lowest low was $1999 earlier in the sale, but this was still a smokin' deal on a higher end notebook.
Specs: Intel i9-13900HX | Nvidia RTX 4080 | 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD | 240Hz QHD+ display
Yeyian Yumi Gaming PC | $1,199.99 $829.99 at Newegg
Save $370 - This had to be one of the best PC deals we'd seen all year, an RTX 4060 rig for just $829.99. If you were after solid 1080p performance and didn't want to stretch into four-figure pricing this was the offer for you.
Specs: Intel i5-12400F | Nvidia RTX 4060
Last year's best Cyber Monday gaming deals in the UK
Nintendo Switch | Switch Sports | 3 months Nintendo Switch Online | £259.99 at Amazon
We hadn't seen this Switch Sports bundle in the UK before, but it was an excellent offer. Not only did this scratch the Wii Sports nostalgia itch, this package also gave you three months access to Nintendo Switch Online and all the goodies (N64 games, for example) that come with it.
Xbox Series X Diablo IV Bundle | £489.99 £389 at Amazon
Save £100 - You were not only scoring a £100 discount on the Xbox Series X here, but Amazon was also including a free copy of Diablo IV. We gave Blizzard's action rpg full marks in our Diablo 4 review, and this was a great way to experience it and save yourself a pretty penny.
We're also rounding up all the Cyber Monday gaming PC deals and Cyber Monday Meta Quest deals we expect to see, as well as everything we can anticipate from Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals as well.
