The best Cyberpunk 2077 NetWatch Agent choice explained
Should you incapacitate the Netwatch Agent or let him take the Data in the Walk The Line Cyberpunk 2077 mission?
The Cyberpunk 2077 Netwatch Agent in I Walk the Line is one you have two choices about how to deal with: incapacitate him or let him take the data. With Netwatch having such a reputation, clearly there's some peril at stake here, but don't worry - the consequences of this choice are far more short term than long term, and not something that's liable to land you in prison for a hundred years or get your brain fried by the Voodoo Boys. You can't please both sides though, so here are the different ways to deal with the NetWatch Agent in Cyberpunk 2077.
Should you Incapacitate the NetWatch Agent or let him take the data in Cyberpunk 2077?
It might seem like a strange decision to co-operate with the NetWatch Agent and let him take the data given that he just tried to kill you. But he explains that the Voodoo Boys will ditch you as soon as they don't need you, offers to remove the virus they put inside you, and release both Brigitte and Ti Neptune. All you need to do is let the him walk away with the data. Pick that option and, while Johnny isn't happy, you do get to walk out of the shopping mall without everyone trying to kill you.
Alternatively, you can punch him. You'll jack into him when he's unconscious on the floor, but your systems get rebooted and you wake up after a short while and discover Placide backstabbed you - roasting all the NetWatch agents through you, while trying to kill you in the process. From there, you can leave the mall, then return to Placide and confront both him and Brigitte.

At the end of the next mission, Transmission, when you come around in the ice bath one of two things can happen. If you sided with the NetWatch Agent during I Walk The Line, all the Voodoo Boys will be dead around you. You can sneak or fight your way out, until you re-enter the chapel and have a boss fight with Placide. On the other hand, if you punched the NetWatch Agent, everyone is alive and you'll be able to leave peacefully without any fights.

Give me a game and I will write every "how to" I possibly can or die trying. When I'm not knee-deep in a game to write guides on, you'll find me hurtling round the track in F1, flinging balls on my phone in Pokemon Go, pretending to know what I'm doing in Football Manager, or clicking on heads in Valorant.
