Should you punch Fingers in Cyberpunk 2077? If we ignore the fact that the answer ethically and morally is almost definitely yes because he's as unsavoury of a character as you'll find in Night City, there is unfortunately a (mild) consequence for doing so. However, that consequence used to be way more severe, so while we couldn't recommend doing so in the past if you wanted to achieve true 100% completion, you can still get that by punching Fingers now.

So yes, you should punch Fingers in Cyberpunk 2077. Want to know more details about exactly what you'll pass up on if you do decide to hurt him? Keep reading for the lowdown.

While talking to him there are several opportunities to punch Fingers. Between the way he acts and all the chances you have, it can be hard to resist whacking him. However, if you hurt Fingers you'll lose access to his ripperdoc clinic for the rest of the game. And while his stock used to be unique, recent updates mean that Fingers' cyberware is no longer unique and can be bought at any ripperdoc.

Whatever you decide to do won't steer the conversation at all and you'll still access the information you need to find Evelyn with Judy whatever happens. It's all linked to the fact that she's been sold off to make illegal braindances, and will lead into the Cyberpunk 2077 Disasterpiece mission to track down a rare Death's Head braindance next. It's just whether you want to leave Fingers standing in the process.
