How to use the Cyberpunk 2077 wardrobe feature to transmog outfits
Build a wardrobe filled with stylish looks in Cyberpunk 2077
The Cyberpunk 2077 Wardrobe is a transmog feature that lets you change the appearance of what you're wearing. It enables you to pick the best gear in terms of stats and other stuff for looks, so you can have the best of both worlds. You can have up to six outfits stored that you can swap out and equip at any time. You can already change your appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 in terms of you face, body, hair and general physical appearance, so this just adds that freedom to your clothes.
Below I'll go through how Cyberpunk 2077's transmog Wardrobe all works and, if you want to know how to get Nibbles the cat in Cyberpunk 2077 - which was added to the game at the same time as this, we can help you there too.
How to use the Cyberpunk 2077 wardrobe transmog
The Cyberpunk 2077 wardrobe feature was a quality of life improvement added in the Edgerunners update. You don't have to complete a mission or speak to anyone about it, it's just a part of your outfit options back at your apartment. So, if your best level gear looks like this...
...you don't actually have to look like that anymore when you play.
To create a custom look that focuses on looking cool while other, hidden, gear does all the heavy lifting for stats, head to your clothes in your apartment and open them up. The first time you it you'll get this message:
As the message states, you can mix and match any item of clothing you've got to make an outfit - basically an appearance - that you can then equip without changing the stats of whatever you're actually wearing. The system will let you pick what you want to look like, and save up to six variations you can then equip at any time.
Whenever you check your character tab afterwards you'll see all your gear equipped that's actually having an effect, with the number of the outfit you're wearing next to it. Just select that whenever you fancy a change to swap to any other premade outfits you've previously created and stored back at your apartment. If you haven't been back to the game for a while then the update that added the new wardrobe features also brought with it some new Cyberpunk 2077 guns to try out.

After playing the scariest mission in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, I'm going to need CDPR to make a fully-fledged survival horror RPG right now
Cyberpunk 2077 sequel director says CDPR may "never" win some fans back, but hopes future games like The Witcher 4 will: "That's unfortunately the price we have to pay"
