What to expect from Black Friday D&D deals 2025
Roll for bargains
This year's Black Friday D&D deals are slowly but surely approaching like a dragon on the horizon. Sure, they may be a few months off - but there's a lot that can be learned ahead of the sale. You don't need to roll high on a Perception check to find good savings though.
That's because the GamesRadar+ team and I are calling for Initiative. We're listing the very best advice on Black Friday D&D deals to help you save as much as possible. Covering Black Friday is definitely one of our skill proficiencies, so you can trust that we've got the expertise and have put in the time to suss out the best offers.
Basically? If you want to build up your library of the best D&D books (or even the best tabletop RPGs) for less, this is the place to be.
What to expect from 2025's Black Friday D&D deals
Although you can bet on accessories like dice or miniatures being slashed in price for this year's Black Friday Dungeons & Dragons sale, rulebooks and adventures tend to steal the spotlight. Here's what you should expect from the upcoming sale.
📚 Most books discounted by up to 50% or more
It really isn't uncommon for D&D's adventures and sourcebooks to be slashed to half-price or less during Black Friday, and this has happened consistently for the last few years. Essentially, it's an opportunity to build up a killer library for much less than normal. Even if that doesn't happen, we usually get some kind of free/for less offer anyway. I often spot a 'buy 3 for the price of 2' saving kicking around, for example.
❗ The old core rulebooks will get big discounts... but don't bother with them
Because there are new rulebooks that have just come out, you're likely to see reductions on the old ones... but it's important not to get these, because those rules have been superseded. Essentially, you're wasting your cash unless you have a group determined to play the old mechanics.
🎲 Accessories get discounts, but these savings aren't massive
While there are a few exceptions (like the official Creature or Terrain Case), third-party dice and other accessories don't get massive reductions for Black Friday - we're talking a couple of dollars/pounds at best. As such, I wouldn't expect massive price cuts from them as a result.
D&D Black Friday deals FAQ
When will the D&D Black Friday deals begin?
We don't need to consult with our wizard's orb to work out the date of Black Friday 2025; the sale always takes place after Thanksgiving and on the final Friday of November, which means this year's sale occurrs on November 28.
Savings aren't limited to a single day, though. These DnD Black Friday reductions started long before that and look set to roll on into the following week. It's good to know you have a little time to ponder on a purchase, but don't take too long or else the goods could be snapped up!
Where will I find the best D&D Black Friday deals?
Despite sounding like a cop-out, I'd have to say that Amazon offers are your best bet during the Dungeons & Dragons Black Friday deals. It always seems to get the most tempting discounts, so we'd always keep an eye on it.
The UK's a bit different, though; newcomers like Magic Madhouse, Wayland Games, and Zatu are great options because they often beat the competition in terms of reductions.
