Daisy Ridley talks Luke Skywalkers cool role in Star Wars: Episode 8
The cameras are currently rolling on Star Wars: Episode 8, and one character who is sure to get some substantial screen time is Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker. Fans were disappointed that he only had a cameo in The Force Awakens, and it's safe to assume that Rian Johnson's follow-up will give us some answers to the many, many questions we have about the infamous jedi knight.
One actor who is reaping and relishing the benefits of working with Hamill is Daisy Ridley, and while she was on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday MTV managed to quiz her on what she knows about Episode 8. Check it out below...

While Ridley understandably doesn't give much by way of specifics, it's good to hear his Skywalker will be playing a more active role in Episode VIII. Presumably, this also means we won't have to scour the film's trailers for signs of the jedi knight when the footage starts to drop online. Excuse us while we get the #FoundLuke hashtag ready...
Directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Laura Dern, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Benicio del Toro, Star Wars: Episode VIII opens on December 15, 2017.
