The first teaser trailer has arrived for Allegiant, the third chapter in Lionsgate's Divergent series, which picks up where Insurgent left off, following Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) as they venture beyond the wall of Chicago to discover what's left of the world.
What's interesting about this preview is just how closely it resembles two other teen dystopia franchises. From the scorched earth spotted from the top of the wall to the outcast band of teens, Allegiant seems to share plenty of thematic and visual ideas with The Maze Runner and The Hunger Games franchises.
