Charlie Cox keen on a Daredevil movie
Having scored rave reviews across the board, and with a second series already officially in the bag, Daredevil has been an unmitigated success for both Netflix and Marvel. It hasn’t been too shabby for Charlie Cox either, with the star telling IGN that he’d be up for bringing the character back to the big screen.
“Yeah that would be awesome, I’d love to do that,” says Cox. “And usually when you’ve got a two-hour movie, it’s action-packed, and so I think that’s one of the things that the show has really benefitted from – having that extra time to really get to know and sit with these characters and see them as humans.”
“But I’d love to see Daredevil on the big screen again,” he continues. “It would be great. And if I could be involved with that, I’d be thrilled.”
With the character already committed to an appearance in the Defenders team-up show, its uncertain whether the studio would want to move Daredevil back into a major movie, but if the next series proves as popular as the first it may well be an option to be considered. In the meantime, we’ve got lots more to look forward to from Cox and co. on the small screen…
