Daredevil season 3 is officially a go, watch the first teaser
Between the upcoming solo series for Luke Cage and Iron Fist, the already announced seasons for Jessica Jones and The Punisher, and the highly anticipated team-up show The Defenders, Marvel's Netflix division is in pretty good shape right now. The show that started it all back in April 2015 was Daredevil, and after two critically acclaimed seasons Marvel confirmed that the show has been renewed for a third round of 13 episodes at San Diego Comic Con.
Check out a teaser below...
Next stop: Hell’s Kitchen. Daredevil Season 3 is coming soon. #Daredevilhttps://t.co/tkWwJNBLJyJuly 22, 2016
We didn't get any specific details on Daredevil season 3 - which will be taking place after ol’ Hornhead partners with other heroes in The Defenders - so it's tough to predict just how Matt Murdock and co might develop at this point. There were a couple of plot points left dangling at the end of season 2, but I'd be surprised if The Defenders didn't make time to follow up on the relationship between Karen and Matt, for instance.
In the past Charlie Cox has said that he couldn't imagine "doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn’t show up", so that's at least one exciting avenue that may yet be explored.
The release date for Daredevil season 3 is yet to be announced.
