Dark Souls 3 Season Pass will include 2 DLC packs
Dark Souls 3 will let you keep on dyin' with at least two sizable DLC expansions, according to the Xbox Store. Its listing for a Dark Souls 3 season pass says the pass will offer a discounted price on two packs, adding "new maps, bosses, enemies and additional weapon and armor sets."
The Dark Souls series has a pretty good track record with DLC so far; the original Dark Souls gave form to a significant chapter in its misty history through Artorias of the Abyss, and The Lost Crowns added three unique new areas (and more bosses, naturally) to Dark Souls 2. We'll probably have to wait until From Software officially announces the season pass to learn more, though Dark Souls 3 itself will be released on April 12, 2016 in Europe and North America.
If you want to start sussing out the story early, you can meet the Lords of Cinder in the opening cinematic for Dark Souls 3. Or if you'd rather focus on the how of stabbing rather than the who, you may want to check out how new "weapon arts" will change the way you play, one quickstep at a time.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
