The Dark Souls series is known for its punishing design, but some fans have apparently decided that beating Dark Souls 3 just isn't challenging enough - they need to do it under the pressure of a ticking clock. Several skilled warriors have managed to blaze through the game in mere hours or less, with YouTuber muzi_nasu clocking in at 1:23:18. That's in-game, mind you. But even accounting for loading times, it muzi's run adds up to 1:29:10 - still less than an hour and a half!
Impressive as that is, I personally admire Twitch user Distortion2 a bit more, as his run clocks in at 1:27:45 (or 1:34:05 real-world time). Thing is, that's with Distortion taking down five optional bosses.
I think the lesson to take away from these videos is "run past all of your problems," and "don't mess with someone armed with a rapier." Praise the s(peedr)un.
