Darkness II CG-filled launch trailer reminds us game comes out February 7
The dramatically violent FPS’s arrival is preceded by snazzy trailer
One of the first new IPs to really hit a nerve with players when the “next-gen” began, The Darkness had great storytelling moments to match an inventive approach to FPS action. Players were clamoring for years for the comic-inspired shooter to get a sequel, and now it’s finally happening. In case you forgot all about it, this launch trailer for Darkness II should jog your memory of the upcoming release.
That’s a pretty fancy opening and sets up the plot fairly well, but it’s sorely lacking in any actual gameplay. If you’re interested in what the actual game looks like, we’ve got a clip for you too, and it involves pulling skulls out of rear ends.
If you’re looking for something a tad more informative, we’ve also got this extended walkthrough of the recent demo you can currently download on 360, PC, and PS3. The game hits stores February 7 and comes to the UK February 10.
