Darren Aronofsky talks Wolverine
Why he chose X-Men over others
Darren Aronofsky is everywhere at the moment - with Black Swan opening in a few weeks in USA and the new two-year deal with Fox - and the director has now opened up about his plans for The Wolverine .
This one off Wolverine film will be set this time in Japan, and is based on the Chris Calremeont and Frank Miller’s 1982 mini series.
The script has been adapted by Christopher McQuarrie ( Usual Suspects ) and will follow Logan when he falls in love with a married Japanese woman.
Cue lots of Samurai fighting with her family to win over her heart.
Aronofsky didn’t have a lot to say about the plans he’s making for The Wolverine as he's still busy with the press for Black Swan .
In the clip below he explains why he wanted to do The Wolverine instead of other projects, such as The Tiger with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
