Date Night trailer lands

The first trailer for Date Night, starring Steve Carell and Tina Fey, has arrived online and you can see it below.

A sort of middle-aged After Hours, it finds the TV comedy titans as Phil and Claire Foster, an unassuming suburban couple whose lives are these days dominated by their kids' schedules.

Aiming to put a little pep back into their romance, they decide to hit New York and a swanky restaurant, but when they take someone else's reservation in order to get a table, the mix-up lands them in big trouble with crooked cops and mobsters.

Oh, and a shirtless Mark Wahlberg as the security specialist who might just be able to help…

Fey and Carell clearly have an easy chemistry with each other, which just might be enough to generate more honest laughs that director Shawn Levy's more kid-centric like Night At The Museum.
