Date some NFS: Carbon screens

The latest blinged-up, lights-down racer in the Need For Speed series will be skidding on to every format in gaming later in the year - but for those of you impatiently revving your engines, here's a selection of shots from the Xbox 360 version and a trailer for the game, which you can find by hitting the movies tab above.

Unlike previous NFS entry Most Wanted, the next-gen versions of Carbon have been built from scratch rather than just given a lick of pixel-shader paint - although we're not completely convinced the visuals have put clear tyre-tracks between Carbon and NFS: Underground yet.

Where we are sold on Carbon, though, is in its 'Autosculpt' system, allowing real-time car customisation tweaking that should keep us in the garage for hours.
