David Tennant joins Burke And Hare
He'll star with Simon Pegg for John Landis
John Landis has tracked down another body-snatching criminal for his black comedy Burke And Hare: David Tennant.
The soon-to-be former Time Lord has been hinting that he'd be getting back into film roles after his stint in the TARDIS and is looks like he's snagged a prime project, co-starring alongside Simon Pegg.
The two will play Irish immigrants William Burke and William Hare, who, it was claimed, murdered 17 victims between 1827 and 1828 and sold their victims' corpses to the Edinburgh Medical College for students to practice dissection.
According to Bloody Disgusting, Landis announced the new cast member this weekend at a convention, and we couldn't be happier. We were already looking forward to this one, and with Tennant aboard, it should be great.
