With aGameRankingsrating of just 72%, the PS3 version of Dead Island may be the lowest scoring game we've ever seen granted a "Game of the Year Edition." We're not entirely sure who called it the GOTY, but we're sure somebody out there was that into it.
Nevertheless, the divisive title is getting a retail rerelease later this Summer on June 26, 2012. The Game of the Year Edition will pack in all of the game's available DLC, including the Bloodbath Arena DLC, the Ryder White expansion, and the Ripper weapon.
